Group classes

For the current times of our group classes, please refer to our class schedule. Below you will find the current offer of our group classes. As you can see we offer a huge diversity. Choose what suits you best or try something new!

We are the only gym in the region which offers outdoor classes when the weather permits.


HiT

HiT ( high intensity training) is an overarching name for full body exercise with a higher intensity. Most HiT classes are only 30 minutes instead of 60 minutes. The HiT classes are entirely devoted to improving your physical conditioning in a group format.

The perfect class for people who do not have much time but want a progressive work out.


AQUA HiT
As the name implies, aqua hit takes place in our swimming pool. The benefit of exercising in the water is that whilst your muscles are work out fully any pressure on the joints and tendons is relieved by the lack of gravity. The high intensity format of the class will allow you to feel fulfilled despite the shorter duration.

HiT:

A highly intensive half -hour workout which focuses on cardio, strength and high speed. Burn calories with this fun  and intense workout! The workout will be given in different areas of the gym. If you want to participate, please ask one of our trainers where the class will take place.

Yoga

A system of exercises to connect your body and mind.
You will be working in a busy but pleasant and relaxing way with physical exercises and yoga-poses (asana’s ) during our yoga classes. You will feel better when practicing yoga regularly. Your muscles and joints will become more flexible. You will become more energetic and get a better body posture. The breathing will become deeper. It gives you more inner peace and self-confidence.

Yogalates

During yogalates you will mostly train your most important muscles, also called core or center, which are; pelvic floor, stomach and lower back. The exercises are slow and focused, low-impact with a maximum result: increasing lung capacity, improving blood circulation, muscle strength and flexibility will become better, give better spinal health, increased stability in your pelvic region, bones will become steadier and joints more flexible. The body will become more balanced, your posture will improve, as well as your body awareness and your movement techniques. During the classes attention will also be paid to yoga poses for more strength and flexibility (of both body and mind) including a relaxation exercise at the end.

 

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a soothing class during which postures are maintained for longer. This way we are able to reach the connective tissues in the body.

Spinning

Spinning is cycling either standing or sitting on a special spinning bicycle, working out to the rhythm of the music. The participants are under the leadership of our spinning instructor. During the workout the resistance of the bicycle is adjusted. You can increase or decrease the resistance yourself via the resistance button on your spinning bicycle The exercises consist of a (standing or seated) flat road, hill or sprints (or a combination of the above)

BBB

This class focuses (entirely) on the three main muscle groups: stomach, buttocks and legs. Various forms of exercises are used in this class, such as muscle strengthening exercises with weights, low-impact exercises and cardio exercises. This is an easy to follow class with emphasis on strengthening the classic “problem areas”. These classes are friendly for your back and do not require much coordination. During these classes you use your own body weight, light dumbbells and tubings (elastic jump-rope-like elastic bands) to get a tighter body by working out the muscles and accelerating the fat-burning process. Beginners and advanced students can take the class together, our instructors will adjust the exercises to everybody’s level. During the BBB classes these body parts (stomach, buttocks and legs) are additionally addressed by special muscle strengthening exercises. With regular practice you will see changes in your body in no time. You will quickly notice how these muscles strengthen and how previously difficult exercises become easier and easier.

Aquagym

Aquagym is a work-out in the water. By using a foambelt around your waist you will float. Because water offers resistance, many exercises are possible. Aqua jogging is also suitable if you have physical complaints. The upward force generated in the water almost makes you weightless, decreasing the stress on your joints and tendons. Aqua jogging is designed for everybody!

Circuit

This class will allow you to work out at a beginner or intermediate level using different kinds of equipment and your own bodyweight. This class is often combined with aqua jogging.

PUMP

Pump is designed to improve your strength and endurance in the major muscle groups while burning as many calories as possible to get a maximum effect. The music tracks make the class seem like a party and you will soon forget that you are doing a workout.

Fitness

You DO NOT have to take a full year subscription at Vita Allegra. We give you the opportunity to stop your membership whenever you want, with a notice of 2 months. It is also possible to put your membership on hold without any extra costs.

You can exercise at Vita Allegra for € 36,00 per month all-inclusive. All-inclusive includes making use of the fitness, group classes, swimming pool and Finnish sauna (with bathrobes)
